Well we FINALLY got something to go our way with the divorce. Jon was able to see Chandler OUTSIDE of Yeala's house (court ordered in fact), in fact Yeala had to bring him down to Aunt Joyce's (Thank you for the use of your house it was greatly appreciated), and sit in the living room while we visited with Chandler. Although she told us he was sick on the way down, trying to stay with him, funny though....he didn't act or look sick. In fact, I think he quite enjoyed playing, and meeting cousins, and Aunts/Uncles. He even got brave enough to give out hugs towards the end of his visit. We have quite a few pictures, so am just gonna give 'teasers' until I can get them loaded in an album somewhere. We all agreed he looks a LOT like Jonathan.

From her MRI--The doctor said it's scar tissue from something. He's sending her back to physical therapy for a few weeks, then she's getting an injection of some sort, then back to physical therapy for a few weeks to see if they can get it moving and unstuck.

Janice went in for an MRI on Wednesday for her 'Frozen Shoulder', she has been going to physical therapy for several hours each week for a couple of months to see if it would help and it doesn't seem to be doing the trick, so she may need surgery on it. Please keep her in your prayers that she will recover well with this and regain the full use of her arm.

Update on Jonathan

Jon had court on Thursday. We are happy to report that he had some small victories. The commissioner lectured Yeala on the visitation (Jon has only seen Chandler 33 out of 80 possible times), and he told her that she was robbing both Jon and Chandler of valuable bonding time between father and son. He told her that there would be no more excuses, that NO MATTER what Jon would be seeing his son EVERY Saturday and Sunday (4 & 1/2 hours each day) or she would be held in contempt. She said that she had a trip planned in June, he basically replied "Not any more you don't". She said that way she would have no life on the weekends, he basically told her that she made that choice when she chose to get pregnant. He did mention about her missing their court date 2 weeks ago (she said she couldn't get off work), she had to pay Jon's lawyer $139.00 for court preparation costs, since Yeala has been so difficult and challenging to get into court. He asked her if she needed him to write a note to her employer stating that she was REQUIRED to appear in court no matter what. They are also going to go to mediation and she is going to pay for her part of it. It will be held in Ogden. She had to pay Jon part of his stimulus from last year back (she accidentally spent it on Christmas), and then $123.00 for a car payment Jon payed when she was late paying for it. They had her sign something that stated that she receieved the title so there won't be any confusion. He essentially told her that if she didn't quit messing that he would change custody with as much stuff as she has pulled and how she has denied Jon seeing his son so much. Jon probably could have gotten visitation outside of the house if they would have had a note from his counselor stating he was not a danger to the child. Anyways I think that's about it, I'm sure my mom will have more to add and/or change. Just wanted to update y'all on what's going on with Jon.

Thanks to everyone for your support of Jonathan during the past several months. Yesterday his lawyer filed a motion for Yeala to show cause as to why she is not letting him see his son very often and why she has disobeyed most of the items issued in the temporary orders. Hopefully we will be getting a new court date and get a lot of issues settled soon. His lawyer even requested that Jonathan be able to spend time with Chandler during the Holidays away from Yeala and her family. Maybe Utah relatives will get a chance to meet him finally.
Jennifer seems to be liking her new job at Petco. She is working lots of hours so we don't see much of her but she is getting out now and mingling with others.
Lara went with Michael, Nikki, Brigg and Brayden to the Gateway Discovery place yesterday. All seemed to have a good time. They then went to dinner at Tuscano's which is a Brazilian Resturant.
Heather and Rob are helping us figure out this blog thing. Hopefully we will soon be able to do it on our own.

Danny called us last night. Kristy is expecting their 6th child in April. Congratulations Danny & Kristy & Family. They normally do not find out what it is so it will be a surprise!

We figured it was time to start a blog, to keep up with everyone! Heather was kind enough to get it set up. For those who don't know. Dan is the "Attending Veterinarian" up at Utah Career College, he is teaching the students and loves every minute of it. He is teaching surgery (one of his favorite things), laboratory animals, and horses. Janice is still volunteering at the temple every Friday, even though her term ended many moons ago.
